In my last post I made a resolution to lose some weight. Last year I got all the way down to 108 lbs. And then I did a lot of self sabotaging and am back up. Like way up. Prime winter body over here. But it is time to start getting back to my summer body — and keeping it!
Weight Loss Goal
My goal right now is to get to 115lbs (I am 5’2 for reference). A stretch goal would be to get to 105lbs.
Weight Loss Plan
- Eat between 1200-1400 calories
- Eat less carbs. Stick to healthier carbs when I do eat them
Anytime you lose weight it is inevitible that you will plateau. I want to have my plan set up ahead of time so I know what I’m going to do. Here are 3 options I can resort to:
- Go keto for a week or two
- Start exercising
- Try out calorie cycling
Special Occasions & Eating Out
I also want to have a plan for special occasions, parties, eating out, etc. This is a place that I’ve really got hung up on before. I’ll go on vacation and then can’t get out of vacation eating! That is what happened last year to make me gain all my weight back.
- Look up the menu ahead of time and pick a lower calorie option
- Plan to eat at maintainance (1700-1800 calories)
I am going to try to post weekly to keep myself accountable.
This morning I weighed in at 138.8lbs

Anyways, as you can see, I am looking a little fluffy at the moment. Let the weight loss begin!
